ØKOHELTER (ECOHEROES)

AN INTERACTIVE DANCE PERFORMANCE FOR CHILDREN IN THE MAKING

Ecoheroes is an interactive dance performance for 5-7th grade.

Through movement, video projection, live sound and imaginative costumes we zoom in to the microscopic ecosystems in the Norwegian forest. In a tactile landscape the ecoheroes emerge, each with powers that echo species in the forest.

Together with the children, they go on an educational and artistic adventure, which encourages the children to develop a deep, creative relationship with local nature and the global climate crisis, with a receptive, solution focussed narrative.

Maybe we’re all Ecoheroes after all?
