MARIA LOTHE
CHOREOGRAPHER & PERFORMER
NOW, FOR NOW 2014/2015
CONCEPT/PERFORMERS: Rachel Blomberg & Maria Lothe
An ongoing research on improvisation in performance, where each performance is based and inspired by site, audience and objects in the space. Listening and responding to each others bodies through movement is a way to stay connected to each present moment, and letting go of structure and rules. Anything or nothing can happen, it can be fun it can be boring, it can be great it can be crap.
Through performing in unusual places, the aim is to reach a wider range of audience with different backgrounds. The duo invites the audience to be curious and participating.
